We understand the importance of a tight building envelope. Since we build in a protected factory setting, we can build from the inside out. Our quality assurance team will ensure that:
- The building envelope is air sealed with foam and mastic.
- Insulation is properly installed.
- Ceiling drywall extends over the top plate of the stud wall to create a better air seal.
- Rigid, durable sheathing provides a proper vapor barrier.
- Drywall is attached with a continuous bead of adhesive/sealer rather than intermittent fasteners.
